10 THINGS THAT NOVEL SUPPLY CO. AND THE JUICERY HAVE IN COMMON

Photo by Chris Carnovale The Juicery is kindly hosting our first ever solo pop-up down on Lolo this weekend and it got me thinking…we have a tonne in common! And, it’s more than just a shared love for #healthylifestylin’. Want to know what else? Here’s the list: 1.    Organic is our jam. Like The Juicery’s juice, our apparel is organic. It’s made from hemp + organic cotton. Hemp grows like a weed, requires way less water to grow than cotton and doesn’t need any pesticides or herbicides. ONE PERSON CAN'T STOP US FROM DOING OUR PART

Since our neighbors to the South pulled out of the Paris Climate Change Agreement, NOVEL SUPPLY CO. is going to push on (but we need your help!).  As a quick refresher, the three aims of the Paris Agreement are to hold the Earth's average temperature below 2 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels, foster resilient climate change adaptation strategies, and make greater efforts to fund sustainable development and greenhouse gas reduction.   NOVEL is doing just that! And, we are working with other creative brands (like Topiku) to further promote sustainability.  But we could do more! NOVEL is ready to push a little harder and we...

MAKING SUSTAINABILITY COOL

Photo by Cassandra, Twist & Shutter There’s a certain stigma that surrounds the word “sustainability”. Some people think about patchouli, others think about not being able to drive their cars anymore, and some think “who the hell cares, we’re all going to die anyways.” My name is Kaya Dorey, Creator of NOVEL SUPPLY CO., and I am not one of those people. "I'm on a mission to make sustainability cool." It was learning about fast-fashion, synthetic fabrics and textiles waste that prompted me to go on a hunt for brands that were making sustainable apparel with natural fabrics. What I found (or didn't) was a bit of a downer. All the shops I walked into or found online advertised every buzz word...
