Sarah is a local illustrator and designer living on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Coast Salish, Tswailatuth nations. When she is not doodling in her sketchbook you can find her munching on salt and vinegar popcorn or dancing in the rain.
Her goal as an artist is to design for good and work will local small businesses so she was excited about the opportunity to collab with NOVEL.
For this collab, we wanted to show an animal “the bear” resting with its coffee in nature. More than ever, we can all appreciate the little things such as waking up to a nice warm cup of coffee whether that's inside your home or outdoors. Coffee is something that brings people together and can be that comforting thing we all need once and in a while. Sarah did this design digitally but wanted it to appear rustic and handcrafted and she hopes it will give you a sense of peace and inspiration when you see it or wear it.
