This just in! NOVEL is really stoked about our new kids' apparel line. Partly because they are super rad and partly because they’re the most conscious kids' clothes on the planet. For real!

We’ve been working with our Vancouver-based manufacturer to collect all our scrap and excess fabric so that we can find an alternative to landfill for this waste. For the bigger pieces, we’ve partnered with Abel Wear to help design, cut and sew the garments.

The mini tees and crews are undyed and chemical free and made with organic cotton and hemp. They are direct-to-garment printed* with water-based inks. We’re offering three different print options (NOVEL Logo, Bear by Christina Lehn and Kumbaya by Manon Garritsen) in two different sizes (6-12 months and 1-2 years). Each one is unique because they are handmade.

These will be released in very limited runs. Stay tuned on Instagram @novelsupplyco for a chance to get one of these for your favourite little guy or gal.

Abel Wear is a local non-profit that offers sewing workshops to women with barriers to employment, so they can start their own businesses.

*direct-to-garment printing is the most conscious way to print as it uses water-based inks and avoids the excess wasted ink that often comes with screen printing. It also allows us to print smaller quantities.
